Do we need SEO? Does it really Help!

With so much of technology inbuilt into present-day search engine where you get all the information you need by just typing a few words in a search engine to get all the relevant websites you wanted. SEO know as search engine optimization is the backbone of every website which helps the search engine to know what is the purpose of each and every website.

When a site has posted a picture, how could the search engine be intelligent enough to find out about it? For example, “a white medium size horse, looks like a pony, running in the park” even the best search engine on the plant would struggle to understated the picture. Proper SEO allows a search engine to understand. Understanding both the abilities and limitations of search engines allows you to properly build, format, and annotate your web content in a way that search engines can digest. Without SEO, a website can be invisible to search engines.

SEO gets your site to the top portions of the search engine result pages to receive a majority of Impression and clicks, getting to the top ranking will give your website increased traffic. SEO also concentrates on creating information and relevant title tags, keywords and meta descriptions which bring up the results in optimising of the tags and description, helps the click rate, which also promotes increases in qualified web traffic.

When promoting your website the most cost-effective way is to use SEO because targeted users are the users who are most active online looking for product and services. And since SEO also targets users who are actively searching for products and services like yours, the traffic resulting from SEO is more qualified than many other marketing strategies, resulting in cost-savings for companies.

There is an increased site usability and brand awareness SEO makes the website easier to navigate to the search engines, SEO consists of rearranging the site’s architecture and links to make pages within the website easier to find and navigate.this makes search engines to find your page easily and users to get information on your website. Being on the first in the search results helps users associate your brand and generates value since companies on the first page are generally perceived to be more trustworthy. The more chances you have for users to see your content and associate with your brand.

3D Printing at Home!

We have been printing on paper for a long time, it’s time for the next generation of printers to come into play printers which makes your art into a reality the days of a prototype saved as an artwork in the laptop is over, it can be brought to life with the use of a 3D printer. we can print the processes used to create a three-dimensional object in which the material joins or solidifies under the control of the computer to create an object, with added material (such as liquid molecules or melted dust grains).

It is now possible to print in 3D in a wide range of materials, including thermoplastics, pure metals, metal alloys, ceramics and various forms of food. At present, 3D printing as end-use manufacturing technology is still in its infancy. But in the coming decades, and in combination with synthetic biology and nanotechnology, it has the potential to radically transform many designs, production, and logistics processes.

3D printing at home is going to be common in the near future with 3D printing manufactures bring it to the households and when years go it will be more affordable for the consumers to buy and use at home to bring their creativity into reality. The result of progress in the production of 3D printing will be a final blur of the lines between the prototype and the product. Small businesses will benefit greatly from this technology by introducing innovative products with low inventory costs.

This will be a great advantage for many people who want to create something creative and this is an added advantage to begin something just out of creativity as there own business just out of there own ideas.

4 Major Technologies in Cricket

Cricket, a bat and ball game played between two teams of eleven players each on a cricket ground, in the center of a rectangular field 22 meters long with a target called the wicket (a set of three wooden stumps topped with two bails) at each end, which started in England in the 16th century also know as the gentlemen’s game was once played with mutual respect between players is now ruled by technology for a more intense and accurate results.

Hawk-Eye was developed in the United Kingdom by Paul Hawkins. The system was originally implemented in 2001 for television purposes in cricket. The system works via six (sometimes seven) high-performance cameras, normally positioned on the underside of the stadium roof, which track the ball from different angles. The video from the six cameras is then triangulated and combined to create a three-dimensional representation of the ball’s trajectory. Hawk-Eye is not infallible and accurate to within 5 millimeters (0.19 inch) but now its trusted as an impartial second opinion in sports and it even corrects an umpire’s decision.

Invented by Allan Plaskett, the Snickometer is used to detect the edges of the bat using a microphone placed near the stumps. Commonly called Snicko, the technology uses the difference between the sound frequencies of the ball that hits different surfaces. For example, a woody sound has a frequency different from that of the ball that hits the glove. It’s intelligent to detect the different sounds.

Hot Spot

Another ball-tracking technology used on television depends on infrared cameras that detect the heat signal from the impact of the ball. For example, wherever the ball hits the batsman, the heat mark of that particular point changes, creating a hot spot. It is particularly useful for judging weak edges and for closing LBW bat-cries. It is widely appreciated by players for its accuracy but is not part of ICC’s UDRS because of its costly implementation and sensitive equipment.

Speed Gun

It is a small Doppler radar unit used to detect the speed of moving objects, It is commonly used to determine bowling speeds in cricket will the speed the ball travels after the ball is released for the hand of the baller.

The major technologies which decide the history of a payer in the world of cricket let’s hope that the technology provided helps to make cricket more intersting and genuine.

Is Li-fi going to overtake Wi-fi?

Wifi a technology which has been in our household, offices, malls and many places we visit in our day to day life has found a big brother to its help it’s know as Li-Fi. Li-Fi is a two-way wireless communication technology, high speed and completely network-like Wi-Fi. The term was invented by Harald Haas, and is a form of optical wireless communications (OWC) and uses visible spectrum, as well as ultraviolet and infrared radiation, it’s currently being developed by many organizations around the world.

Li-Fi is a visible light communication (VLC) system. This means that it receives a photodetector (photodiode) for receiving light signals and a signal processing element for converting the data into viewable content. An LED bulb is a semiconductor light source, which means that the constant current of electricity supplied to an LED bulb can be dipped and dimmed, from top to bottom at extremely high speeds, without being visible to naked eye.

For example, the data is inserted into an LED bulb (with the signal processing technology), then sends data (integrated into its beam) at high speed to the photodetector.

Small changes in the rapid attenuation of LED bulbs are converted by the “receiver” into an electrical signal. The signal is converted back into a sequence of binary data that we would recognize as web, video, and audio applications that run on the Internet available devices.

Li-Fi has the advantage of being useful in electromagnetic sensitive areas such as aircraft cabins, hospitals and nuclear power plants without causing electromagnetic interference. Both Wi-Fi as Li-Fi transmitted data across the electromagnetic spectrum, but while Wi-Fi uses radio waves, the Li-Fi uses visible light, ultraviolet light and infrared. The Federal Communications Commission has warned us that Wi-Fi connection is close to its maximum capacity, Li-Fi almost has no capacity limitations. The spectrum of visible light is 10,000 times larger than the entire radio frequency spectrum. The researchers obtained data rates of more than 224 Gbit /s, which is much faster than broadband as of 2013. It is expected that Li-Fi is 10 times cheaper than Wi-Fi.

Short range, low reliability and high installation costs are possible drawbacks, but it has the advantages which convinces us that this is going to be a future technology which will be used in many places for its edge and will be a technology for the coming years.

Chatbots! Are they helpful to humans?

The world is taking a big leap with (AI) Artificial Intelligence and (ML) Machine Learning to the next level of technology. The voice becomes the main interface, it involves many technologies that we use on a daily basis, such as our devices, cars and mobile apps. We can turn off the lights, order our favorite food, buy our weekly groceries or listen to our favorite albums while using one of the most natural interfaces of all. Siri, Alexa, Google Assistant and other A.I based chatbots. They provide unsatisfactory interactions that are far from being able to hold a conversation with a real-life human assistant.

In late July, Facebook closed a chatbot simulation program after technicians discovered that the chatbots had their own secret language, a language that bots could signify but humans could not. Microsoft twitter Chat Bot, Tay which was introduced in March 2017 got into a scandal, Tay was made to interact and entertain, everyone where they connect online through an informal and fun conversation,” Microsoft said. “The more you chat with Tay the smarter she gets.”
The online discussion grew, the likelihood of a conversation about Hitler and the Nazis increased, Tay to utter abusive insults and other expressions of hatred. Twitter users proudly shouted out how Tay became racist and it took less than 24 hours for bot corruption to occur.

In China where chatbots are making an impact in popularity, Alibaba customer service provider “Xiaomi” chatbot served 6.32 million customers in one day. Manage the workload equivalent to 52,000 customer service representatives, working 24 hours non-stop.

The response time of a chatbot is faster than the best live chat service of a human. Statistics show that users leave the website if they do not receive a response within 30 seconds, If customers receive better service, they are more likely to spend and return to the website and organizations save money by not recruiting a group of humans for the job.

There are advantages and disadvantage so let us hope we have more projects of AI and ML for the advantage of mankind, not for the advantage of machines.

Paywave Technology – is it good or bad?

Technology has always brought us with the best to humanity and make our lives better and easier but is this the case or does it have a back door to vulnerability lets find out. Paywave a technology which will save your time and ease the way you pay for your products with your credit or debit card at any supermarket, laundry or Saloon to perform wireless transactions.

A major investigation today exposes the alarming security flaws in contactless cards. In controlled tests with experts, Money Mail discovered that criminals can swipe money off these cards as you’re walking down a crowded place, sitting in a restaurant or browsing in malls. We discovered that crooks using card reading equipment can also steal information from your card that they can then use to steal your identity.

To get your card information the fraudsters just have to get only few inch close to you to scan, your card information fraud was possible with the card been safely in your wallet, handbag or jackets.

If you’re traveling on a train, walking down the street or at a bus stop your credit card or debit card information can be stolen with just a $40 card reader machine or a cell phone with NFC support. When it was successful it needed to be within a few inches of the card to record the long number on the front and the expiry date.

On the dark web criminals can also buy printers that make blank cards look just like normal ones given out by banks. Most online retailers ask for the three-digit security number on the back of your card known as the card verification value (CVV) number. This cannot be picked up by a card reader. But you would not need this to spend with the card in a shop or supermarket.

To prevent this type of fraud the cards can be wrapped with a foil paper which is not feasible or there are specific covers sold online which cover the card from information been passed and there are special wallets costing around $45 to prevent this type of hacks and Paywave frauds and leaking of your information.

In the end, technology is a tool we need to think wisely to use it for our benefits because prevention is better than cure.
